What Happens During a Color Consultation?
The color consultation process begins by discussing your design goals and objectives with our interior design expert. We'll discuss any key styles and important design elements, including favorite colors, important patterns, or other key factors that you'd like to try to include into the design. We'll also discuss when you want to have your consultation completed. Then, we'll schedule the in-home or virtual consultation.
The second part of the consultation is where we get a feel for what you want, where you are in your design process, and what it will take to get to your end goals. We generally prefer in-home consultations because they give us a better feel for your space, allowing us to see the rooms with their existing colors and in their natural and artificial lighting, wood finishes, and textiles. We also learn about how you and others in your home use the space.
After this consultation, our interior designers work with you to create a color palette of Farrow & Ball paint colors that complement the existing elements in your home. When you're happy with the palette, we recommend products, sheens and other additions room by room to enhance the look and fit your style.
